We are excited to share that the Waterford Public Participation Network (PPN) will soon be launching their annual Community and Voluntary Awards. This special event celebrates the incredible individuals and groups who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in our community.
The awards are a wonderful way to recognise and honour those who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to helping others and improving life in Waterford. Whether it’s through volunteering, organising local initiatives, or simply making life brighter for those around them, these awards shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes among us.

Mark your calendars! From this date, nominations will officially open, and we encourage everyone to take part. If you know someone or a group who deserves recognition, this will be your chance to put their name forward and ensure their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
🎉 Awards Ceremony Details
The celebrations will come together at the Waterford PPN Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, 6th November 2025 at the Park Hotel from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. This promises to be a fantastic evening where we honour and celebrate our local heroes.
