Community Foundation Ireland’s Biodiversity Fund is now open for applications.
With the support of the National Parks & Wildlife Service, this fund has been devised to enhance biodiversity in communities throughout the country by combining the expertise of qualified ecologists with the skills, experience, and enthusiasm of local community groups.
There are two strands to the Biodiversity Fund and applicants can apply to ONE only.
To develop a Community Biodiversity Action Plan (CBAP) for your area with an ecologist (Up to €10,000 available).
To implement recommendations contained in an existing Community Biodiversity Action Plan (Up to €12,000 available).
