Community members and local groups with an interest in sustainable transport, active travel, climate action, accessibility and community development are being invited to take part in a research workshop in Waterford city this October.
The workshop is part of the ROBUST research project, a collaboration between Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and Atlantic Technological University (ATU). The project is exploring how mobility hubs can better meet the needs of local communities.
The research will focus on the E-Mobility Hub at Ballybricken in Waterford city, which provides access to e-bike and e-car rental services.

The researchers are particularly interested in hearing from people involved in or interested in:

The workshops are scheduled to take place in Waterford city on 7th or 8th October 2026.
This is an opportunity for community members and organisations to share their experiences and views and help inform research into how sustainable transport services and mobility hubs can better support local communities.
