Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy – Closes May 30th

“Region 5” consisting of Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford City and County Councils are seeking public input to inform the development of a regional EV Strategy.

The goal of the strategy is to address the challenges and opportunities in deploying EV charging infrastructure in the South-East region.

Public consultation opens on May 1st and runs until 4pm on May 30th 2025.

This consultation invites residents, stakeholders, and the general public to share their views and input on the future of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure in their areas.

By developing a comprehensive network of strategically located charging stations, the strategy is intended to support the growing number of EVs on our roads, ensuring that all areas are adequately served and help meet our climate action targets.
