Údarás na Gaeltachta has announced a new €350,000 fund to boost tourism in the Gaeltacht. It is aimed at SMEs, community groups, cooperatives and non-profit organisations located in the Gaeltacht or in a language planning area.
The aim of this scheme is to make targeted investment in high-quality tourism products, based on the unique language and culture of the Gaeltacht. In addition to promoting the Irish language, this funding will support the tourism sector in the Gaeltacht in creating sustainable employment.
