Waterford City & County Council’s corporate objective is that ‘Waterford, as the capital of the South East, will be a vibrant and sustainable place for all its people who live, work or invest here’. The purpose of festival support grant is to aid groups and organisations to deliver on this objective.
Application deadline: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Waterford City & County Council Festival & Event Funding Policy (2021) before making an applicant to ensure their eligibility.
Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email no later than 5th February 2027. Successful applicants will receive a Grant Letter of Offer via email.
The Letter will detail all conditions and requirements attached to the grant. Any changes to key dates will be notified to applicants via email and on www.waterfordfestivals.ie.
