Community groups organising local cultural festivals or summer schools may be eligible for funding under the Small-Scale Local Festivals and Summer Schools Funding Scheme from the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.
The scheme supports not-for-profit festivals and summer schools that promote access to arts, culture and creativity in communities, particularly events that may not qualify for larger funding programmes. Grants of up to €5,000 are available through a competitive application process.
